Elizabeth A. Sopinski is a member of the Littler CaseSmart® team, based in New York, where she focuses on early case evaluation (ECE). At the start of each employment litigation case, she reviews key documents, interviews witnesses, and prepares an ECE report, working closely with the Littler litigation team to develop strategies that align with clients’ litigation goals.
Prior to joining Littler, Liz practiced litigation defense at a general practice law firm in upstate New York. She handled litigation from inception through trial and appeal, with a focus on employment law and medical malpractice defense. In her employment law practice, she defended clients against claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the New York State Human Rights Law. Liz also advised clients on employment agreements, workplace policies, and disciplinary issues.
During law school, Liz was elected executive publication editor of the Buffalo Law Review, a role she was chosen for by her peers.
