David Herman has over two decades of experience advising real estate-related companies on various transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, going-private transactions, IPOs, SPACs, financings, workouts, and restructurings. He also provides counsel on corporate matters, mortgage-backed securitizations, commercial lending transactions, and private equity dealings, regularly representing special servicers, lenders, and borrowers in loan restructurings and workouts. David has been involved in transactions exceeding $100 billion and serves as co-head of the U.S. real estate practice and head of the New York real estate group.

Additionally, David contributed to Lehman Brothers’ chapter 11 bankruptcy, the largest and most complex in U.S. history, overseeing strategies for substantial investments in global commercial and residential real estate projects.
