Ted Hunter is a highly regarded partner in Manatt’s Real Estate practice, based in the New York office, and working with clients across the East Coast, particularly in New York and New Jersey, as well as nationally. Ted’s expertise covers a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, joint ventures, workouts, and development transactions. He consistently brings complex deals to successful completion for a variety of clients such as investors, developers, lenders, owners, and tenants.
In addition to providing legal counsel, Ted acts as a strategic business advisor for his clients, negotiating all aspects of sophisticated real estate transactions. His collaborative, solution-focused approach ensures that both his clients’ and the other parties’ goals are met in high-stakes negotiations, while securing significant results for his clients. He is recognized for his experience in public-private partnerships (P3) and managing complex, multijurisdictional portfolio deals.
Before joining Manatt, Ted led the national real estate practice at another prominent firm, playing a key role in expanding its real estate capabilities from strategic planning to deal management.
