Mr. Gunther’s practice spans domestic and cross-border investigations and prosecutions. He has significant experience litigating against the DOJ, SEC, and other regulatory bodies, handling cases related to securities laws, insider trading, banking, tax, accounting, medical devices, anti-money laundering, and FCPA violations.
He also conducts internal investigations for organizations and boards, advising on compliance matters. His notable representations include a New York state financial control board and the governing boards of two public universities facing athletic program misconduct allegations.
