Karen has dedicated over thirty-five years to practicing exclusively in matrimonial law. She joined the firm in 2007 after running her own law practice and serving as a partner in the matrimonial department at Squadron Ellenoff Plesent & Sheinfeld, LLP.
Renowned for her knowledge of marital and prenuptial agreements, Karen advises high-net-worth clients and family offices. She was featured in a Wall Street Journal article titled “Millennials Embrace Prenuptial Agreements – But Through a Very Different Lens.”
She has been an active member of the Matrimonial Law Committee at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, serving as Chair of the Sub-Committee on Legislation.
Karen holds an “AV Pre-eminent” rating from Martindale Hubbell for both legal ability and ethical standards. She has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for several years, included in the Bar Register of Prominent Women Lawyers, and frequently recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in the New York City metro area by her peers.
An accomplished pianist, Karen has also served on the board of the American Friends of the Salzburg Easter Festival.
