Susan Moss specializes in all aspects of family and matrimonial law. She is adept at negotiating settlements and, when necessary, vigorously litigating cases through trials and appeals.

As a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, she also possesses exceptional skills to analyze complex financial issues faced by her clients.
Susan has been featured in The New York Times, the New York Law Journal, the New York Daily News, the New York Sun, The New York Post, and various other publications discussing matrimonial law. She has lectured for the New York State Bar Association on various aspects of Matrimonial Law, addressed the Children’s Rights Council on religious issues in custody litigation, and presented on “The Pitfalls of Drafting Prenuptial Agreements” to the New York Women’s Bar Association. She has also appeared on national and local television shows, including NBC’s The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, and The Nancy Grace Show.
Susan serves on the Board of Directors of the New York City Women’s Bar Association and co-chairs the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York Matrimonial Committee. She is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (formerly serving as Secretary of the Matrimonial Law Committee and Co-Chairperson of the Forensic Examinations sub-committee), the New York State Bar Association (Matrimonial Section of the Family Law Section, Membership sub-committee, and Public Service and Education sub-committee), and the New York County Lawyers’ Association (Matrimonial Law Section). Additionally, she is part of the Legal Advisory Committee for Sanctuary for Families, a non-profit focused on aiding survivors of domestic violence, and a member of the Executives Association of Greater New York. Susan is listed in the Madison Who’s Who Directory and has been recognized as one of the top 50 Women Attorneys in the New York Metropolitan Area by Super Lawyers.
Licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, Susan earned her law degree from the University of Chicago in 1994, where she was the managing editor of the University of Chicago Roundtable Law Journal and received the Ann Barber Award. She holds undergraduate degrees from The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and College of Arts & Sciences, both earned in 1991, and was awarded the Wharton School of Business Ivan Berg Award and the University of Pennsylvania Brownlee Award.
