Vito A. Cannavo brings extensive corporate and municipal litigation experience to enhance the trial skills he has developed across various areas of the firm’s practice. As a seasoned trial attorney, Vito has built a strong reputation through hard work and dedication, reflected in his numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements in medical malpractice, premises liability, motor vehicle, and firefighter-related cases.
Before joining the firm, Vito served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Mark Costantino and later worked as a litigation associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. His time at the New York City Law Department Office of The Corporation Counsel solidified his status as a formidable trial attorney, leading to the firm’s invitation to join in 1988. Since 1992, Vito has been a Member of the firm and currently oversees one of the General Negligence departments.
