Brian is an associate in the New York office, specializing in construction litigation. His practice covers a wide range of construction-related issues, including construction defect claims, injuries, New York Labor Law litigation, admiralty and maritime law, and commercial disputes. He frequently handles New York Labor Law claims and contractual indemnity matters, representing clients such as owners, developers, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, and commercial landlords and tenants.
In addition to his construction work, Brian manages admiralty and maritime cases involving liability limitations, breach of Bareboat Charter Agreements, marine product liability, cargo disputes, and personal injury cases under the Jones Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
Before joining Kennedys, Brian gained significant experience at a large defense firm, overseeing case management from start to finish, conducting depositions, motions in limine, and mediations, and mentoring junior attorneys. He earned his LLM in Intellectual Property from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in 2014, focusing on data law. Brian has collaborated with corporate leaders to align security and privacy programs, develop data ethics policies, and manage internal investigations in response to electronic data discovery.
