Being the principal of a law firm dedicated to helping the less fortunate is truly a dream fulfilled. Originally from Poland, my background in canon and civil law, combined with additional legal education in the U.S., equips me to serve my clients with both expertise and empathy, understanding the pain they face after their accidents.
The most rewarding part of my job is working directly for the people, not the insurance or corporate system. Guiding individuals through the uncertainty of a catastrophic injury, when their lives are turned upside down, aligns with my personal journey, and I bring that dedication into every case we handle.
The hardest part of my work is witnessing the constant suffering. People come to me when they’re at their lowest, and that means facing a lot of pain daily. Although it’s essential to set aside emotions to do our job effectively, we inevitably carry that sorrow with us. To truly advocate for our clients, we must understand their struggles. It makes things harder at times, but it’s the only way to represent a suffering individual fully.
My approach to cases? Fearless. When someone is injured, especially on a construction site, the other side will often try to scare them with tactics like surveillance, endless questions, and delaying the lawsuit. This can cause clients to feel anxious about their future and the outcome of their case.
At The Platta Law Firm, we make it clear that we won’t be intimidated. We are relentless in our pursuit of justice. Big corporations often rely on their size and resources to intimidate, but we’ve been defeating them for years and will continue to do so. If you cause harm, you should be held accountable, and we won’t stop fighting until that happens.
