Darren has extensive experience in restructuring across various industries, including energy, manufacturing, healthcare, blockchain, cryptocurrency, technology, maritime, and transportation. He has also worked on cross-border insolvency cases involving multiple countries such as Canada, Brazil, Germany, South Korea, and Japan. He frequently litigates in U.S. Bankruptcy Courts.
Darren is a recognized authority in cryptocurrency restructurings. He led the representation of the official committee of unsecured creditors in the first-ever crypto Chapter 11 case involving Cred Inc., securing significant recoveries for creditors. His work includes retrieving more than $6 million in stolen cryptocurrency. Darren also represented creditors in the Chapter 11 cases of Voyager Digital and Compute North, and he is currently involved in the bankruptcy case of Prime Trust, a leader in the crypto industry.
