Bernard D’Orazio is a lifelong New Yorker, having lived in New York City for 40 years. He spent eight years as an appointed member of Manhattan Community Board No. 1, engaging in city planning and addressing various issues in lower Manhattan. For many years, he was part of the Board of Managers for his 261-unit condominium in the Tribeca neighborhood, even serving as its President. Mr. D’Orazio is currently a Public Member of the Business Conduct Committee (previously the Adjudication Committee) at The CME Group, which operates the NYMEX/COMEX Commodities exchanges in New York City. His interests encompass history, music, sports, film, travel, the beautiful Upstate New York region, and family. He contributes to The Tribeca Tribune, a community newspaper, writing about New York City history.
Mr. D’Orazio frequently lectures on judgment enforcement at the New York City Bar Association and has authored articles on debt collection that have been published in the New York Law Journal, the city’s daily legal publication. Recently, he was appointed Editor of West Publishing’s online guide for attorneys, Practical Law, focusing on New York Judgment Enforcement.
