Jared Newman is a partner in the Litigation Department at Herrick, where he specializes in complex commercial litigation, particularly in the areas of real estate and construction.
He has gained significant experience representing a diverse clientele, including owners, developers, contractors, and hospitality businesses, in various matters. These include disputes over commercial leases, construction management agreements, condominium developments, mechanic’s liens, purchase and sale agreements, license and access agreements, and cases involving the Human Rights Commission, along with numerous other issues relevant to real estate ownership, development, and construction.
Additionally, Jared is an active member of Herrick’s Employment Group, providing clients with guidance on a range of workplace-related issues, including general counseling and risk management.
Before joining Herrick, Jared worked at Pryor Cashman LLP.
