Marion Bachrach is an experienced trial and appellate attorney at Holland & Knight’s New York office. Her practice specializes in white-collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and complex regulatory and civil matters. With over 30 years of experience in high-profile litigation, she serves both institutional and individual clients, providing counsel to professionals such as lawyers, executives, accountants, and physicians. Her areas of focus include white-collar criminal defense, internal investigations, attorney disciplinary proceedings, regulatory enforcement, forfeiture actions, and complex litigation.
She spent six years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, where she also served as chief of general crimes and deputy chief of the criminal division, gaining extensive trial, appellate, and supervisory experience.
For more than a decade, she has taught as an adjunct professor of law at Cornell Law School and as a lecturer at Columbia Law School. She has contributed to a leading treatise, Defending Federal Crimes, and written articles for the New York Law Journal. Additionally, she has moderated webinars and participated in various panels discussing white-collar crime and federal agency investigations.
